Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of the Dice & Sound mobile application ("the App"), developed by Jorge Pardo Serrano ("we"). By downloading, installing or using the App, you accept these terms.
1. Description of the service
Dice & Sound is a soundscape manager (music and sound effects) designed for tabletop role-playing games. It includes one world ("Fantasy") that is free to use, and additional worlds available as one-time in-app purchases.
2. User account
You do not need an account to use the App. You may optionally sign in (with Google or with a link sent by email) so that your purchases can be recovered on another device. You are responsible for keeping access to your Google account or your email secure.
3. Content and purchases
- The "Fantasy" world is permanently free.
- Other worlds are offered as one-time purchases (not subscriptions), handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play depending on the platform you install the App from.
- Refunds for your purchase are governed by the policies of Apple or Google as the payment platform; we do not handle refunds directly.
4. Intellectual property
The App, its code, design, interface, music and sound effects are the property of Jorge Pardo Serrano, unless stated otherwise. By using the App you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it in accordance with these terms. You may not redistribute, extract or reuse the App's audio content outside the App itself.
5. Acceptable use
When using the App, you agree not to:
- Attempt to bypass, tamper with or break the access control system for paid content.
- Reverse engineer the App's backend services beyond what the law permits.
- Use the App in any way that could damage, overload or harm our systems or those of third parties involved in the service.
- Use the App for unlawful purposes.
6. Third-party services
The App relies on third-party services to work: Google Firebase (authentication), RevenueCat (purchase management), Apple App Store / Google Play (payment processing) and Cloudflare (audio content delivery). Use of these services is also subject to their own terms.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including (but not limited to) warranties of continuous availability, freedom from errors or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App.
9. Changes to and termination of the service
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts and tribunals that have jurisdiction under applicable consumer protection law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date at the top of this document.
