Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Jorge Pardo Serrano ("we", "the controller") collects, uses and protects the personal data of the users ("you", "the user") of the Dice & Sound mobile application ("the App").

2. What data we collect

2.1 Account data (only if you sign in, which is optional)

The App works without creating an account. The "Fantasy" world is free and available without signing up. If you choose to sign in (with Google or with a sign-in link sent by email), we collect:

• Your email address.
• Your profile name, if the sign-in provider supplies it (e.g. Google).
• A unique account identifier, generated by our authentication provider (Firebase Authentication, by Google).

Signing in lets you recover any paid world you have bought if you change devices or reinstall the App.

2.2 Purchase data

In-app purchases (worlds other than Fantasy) are handled through the Apple App Store or Google Play, using the RevenueCat service to manage subscriptions and purchases. We collect and process:

• Which products you have bought (to know which content you have access to).
• A customer identifier assigned by RevenueCat, linked to your account if you have signed in.

We never receive or store your payment card details: payment is processed entirely by Apple or Google.

2.3 Technical data collected automatically

Like any app that talks to servers, when the App requests audio content or checks your identity or purchases, the services involved (see section 4) automatically receive your IP address and basic technical data about your device (model, operating system, app version) as a normal part of any network request.

2.4 Data that never leaves your device

Your worlds, scenes, saved presets, volume levels, and language and display preferences are stored only on your device. They are not sent to any server of ours and are not synchronised between devices.

3. What we use your data for

• Letting you sign in and recover your purchases on another device.
• Checking which content you have bought, so we can give you access to it.
• Delivering the App's audio content.
• Providing support if you contact us.
• Meeting legal obligations where applicable.

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to third parties.

4. Who we share data with

To provide the App, we share data with the following providers, each under its own privacy policy:

• Google Firebase (authentication): handles sign-in with Google and by email link.
• RevenueCat: manages in-app purchases and the status of subscriptions and purchases.
• Apple App Store / Google Play: process payment for purchases.
• Cloudflare: delivers the App's audio content.

These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (mainly in the United States), relying on the international data transfer mechanisms of their own compliance programmes (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses).

5. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

• Performance of a contract: to manage your purchases and give you access to the content you have bought.
• Consent: for the optional sign-in (you can use the App without giving it).
• Legitimate interest: for the technical operation of the service (audio delivery, fraud prevention).

6. How long we keep your data

For as long as you use the App or keep an active account. If you ask us to delete your account and your data (see section 7), we will delete them within a reasonable period, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep some data for longer.

7. Your rights

If you live in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) gives you the following rights over your personal data: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at privacy@pardolabs.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) if you believe we have not handled your data correctly.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under 14 (the minimum age of digital consent in Spain). If we find that we have collected data from a minor without appropriate consent, we will delete it.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no transmission or storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date at the top of this document.
